Does anyone else read text as fast as you possibly can to make sure you read it all before it disappears, then just sit there staring at it for the next 10 seconds, because you had plenty of time?

This brought back a lot of memories. We had several of these at home when I was a kid. I used to watch them go, so I figured out how they work back then. They are indeed very ingenious. Sometimes one would get stuck and one of us had to get a little wet running up to it to get it unstuck. Good memories. Thanks! 🙂

The seal on the sprinkler is pretty neat, but wouldn’t it leak and get water everywhere when it’s starting up? Thanks

Wow, this video is really approaching art. I loved the tic - tic - tic - tic, tictictictictic sounds with the rotating screen! And I could probably watch the slo-mo of the impact sprinkler for hours. And I wouldn't worry too much about "armature"--I'm not sure what it should be called, either. da di duppa D'Oh!

I was having a conversation with someone and I realized I have no idea what pagers are, are they mobile phones? Do they work like texting? Is it just a voicemail box but without the voicemail part? We did some research and got a vague idea, but I thought it might be an interesting topic for technology connections to answer. Everyone knows of them but few people know how they work. They're old enough to be obscure in usage but new enough to be commonly recognized. They're an old-ish technology which is first and foremost about making connections that could use some explaining, seemed like a perfect topic for this channel

Hey! I've noticed several times that canon AE 1 ( or just A?) Posing on that middle left shelf and i'm tired of waiting that vídeo to happen hahaha.. since that particular camera was my first approach to ( let's say) proffesional ( kidding) photography, so i was wondering if you could make your magic and do a video about it. and don't be shy to defenestrate it jajaj ( sorry if my speaking is not fluid )haha salute from Argentina

Back when I was in high school in the late 70's I had a summer job at the golf course at night driving around hooking and unhooking huge brass impact sprinklers into the irrigation system to water the fairways. This was before irrigation systems became computerized and all they had was one irrigation line running down the middle of the fairway with couplings every so many yards to connect the impact sprinklers. It was a pretty cool job for a high school kid who loved golf and got to play for free on weekdays thanks to the job.

3 things. #1 I love your videos! Their educational and funny but not in an overly wacky/cringy way. #2 That bit where you said “(long pause) because that’s the way it is” was hilarious and I’m glad you kept it in. #3 The outro/out take music would sound really good as an acapella version (at least I think it would)
